There’s a good in that bad, I promise!

Let’s see, it seems that I can never just tell you guys a story without backing up a few years so let’s just dig in! Ready? Way back at the end of 2010 when I had lost right around 50ish pounds I started to lose my hair, like, a lot. I was devastated, probably more than I should be. You have to realize that as a big girl I only really liked my hair and my feet – I know, weird. My feet had gone down the “drain” so to say, when I started to workout and run – my hair was all I had left. It was quiting me! I did a lot of research and tried a lot of things, aside from not bleaching or coloring it (CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE HOW DESPERATE I WAS IF I STOPPED COLORING MY HAIR???) I tried a bunch of shampoos. In the end a friend told me about WEN and I gave it a go.

For a normally frugal girl like myself the price was a bit of a shocker, but the product was worth it. With WEN my damaged hair was refreshed and, thankfully, my hair stopped falling out. The first month I didn’t realize they would ship again and I wound up with a shipment the next month – I was no where near in need! lol SO I switched my deliveries to 90 days and went on with life.

A year or so later my hair was no longer falling out (in fact it may be getting a bit fuller again) and I started coloring my hair once more. I know, the red is so natural you would never know it! 😉 I kept on with the WEN because after dying it give my hair life again and when I use WEN my color stays bright and lovely for weeks longer than washing it away with other shampoos (even ones for dyed red hair!)

Well, last week (yep we are finally at the story) I realized, slightly panicked, that I was out of WEN!!! It’s the first time in the two and a half years that I have been using it that I ran out before my auto shipment. The same day I got a little message that indicated that I would get a shipment soon and I decided to just wait it out… Two days later I got a knock on my door, the dogs went wild, I was confused and as I checked the window I saw my little round mail man scuttle back to his truck! OMGosh! I got my WEN!!!

What a mess!!!

What a mess!!!

Busted! ALL OVER!!! Another first, and a dang fine one! BOTH bottles were still all wrapping up and whole, but each lid had been blown right open!!! What? I was so bummed, so I called and the most lovely woman helped me get it all straightened. When I told her I couldn’t believe it because it was the first time I actually needed it, she was very understanding and told me not to worry about sending the busted bottles! So I was able to pour the one into the other and I have a bottle to use while I wait! Yay!

Moral of the story: It might look busted, but it could be a blessing if you stay calm and just smile on! Oh, and WEN is an awesome product with awesome customer service. Well worth the price!!!
