The drawer that keeps on giving!

on August 2, 2013

I think that perhaps this whole cleaning out the junk drawer and organizing thing, it might have some crazy out comes if I can continue with it. Just from the few hours I spent doing it on Wednesday I got a world of treasures! Seriously check it out:

My Tiffany & Co. key necklace has been missing FOREVER. I thought it got dropped down the drain. This thought was full of extra sads because this is my wedding day necklace!!! I wanted a part of my wedding day I could wear all the time (you know because if I wear my dress all the time people will think I'm coo coo!!!) Anyway, I found it in the top junk drawer! I can't believe it's been there this whole time while I moped around mourning its loss!!!

This is one of many drawing that my mother-in-law had done years ago. My mother-in-law died when my wife was 17 years old, so clearly I never met her. Still it is eerie how similar we are (were?) - I am to who she was. That's how to say it! She was this funky-cool redhead with an extravagant sense of style and a talent for all sorts of arts with little ability to stay focused! Sounds like someone you know?!?!
